About Us

Software First Computers was started by Dr. David Lenchyshyn, EdD. in 1983 as a sideline to his teaching career.

Business was lean in the early years, but grew rapidly when SFC and Dave moved to their current location on Brookfield Ave. in 1987.

Dave retired from teaching in 1996, and has focused solely on running the business.

Over the years, Dave has had the opportunity to apprentice many budding young "techies" as well as show many customers do-it-yourself tips in the shop.
